About us

Cluster WASTen was founded on 23. 12. 2015 as a registered association. Members of the association are innovative Czech firms, suppliers of cutting-edge technologies for treatment of municipal and industrial waste, and leading research organizations.

Members of the cluster WASTen are the Universities from ecologically most affected regions – UJEP from Usti n.L. and the VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava and University of Chemistry and Technology Prague. Cluster activities will be directed to projects throughout the Czech Republic but with a special emphasis on the Usti and Moravian-Silesian region.
